{MAR 23, 2011} My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant ( for the first time) everything was very tasty. For appetizers we tried the fried calamari which was good but didn't have anything making it unique, and the bruschetta caprese which was excellent a must try! As an entrée I had the special stuffed chicken (stuffed with prosciutto, mozzarella and rabe) on a mound of mashed potato with a marsala sauce it was to die for! The second entrée was the steak Alla Pappa style. It wasn't spicy as it states but it was very delicious none the less. As for the service our waitress was very prompt and left us have our alone time.We've come back a few times and intend on coming back many more. This is a great little restaurant I'd recommend to many.

Upon reading a recent review in the Prov. Journal, my wife and I tried this restaurant. We have gone back several more times since.First, the service has always been excellent whether at a table or at the bar.The food is good old fashioned Italian food served in large portions accompanied by a large bowl of mixed salad and home made foccacia bread.We both love the rabe and cannolini beans, squash flowers and calamari.The entrees are never finished because they typically are large, and the quality is definitely there. The prices are the best part...they were recently lowered, check the menu. Chicken parm with salad, bread, and two sides that is hard to finish is $12.99.A small place like you would find on a side street in Rome, and a nice place to go for dinner or a date.
